1. I was given a   by a group of my friends. I have a really great group of friends. And they all pitched in money for me and bought me this really great guitar. And I′ve been playing it pretty much every day since.
I   an engagement ring on my last birthday by my boyfriend of five years. It was very unexpected. I was also given a few books, some gift certificates to various clothing stores – which I spent   – but most importantly, I gained a fiancée.
On my last birthday I was given a tiara. It is a   crown that says ′Birthday Girl.′ And I was given a book because I′m a writer and poet, so it was a blank book for me to carry around and write.
Today is actually my birthday. I was given clothing and a greeting card by my parents, money by my grandparents, and   by my friend Mike.
I was given a heart necklace that opens up to a chain and you can put a photo inside. And I was also given a T-shirt from a friend of mine who is from South Africa. And she drew everything by   – she made the T-shirt herself. And she had the continent of Africa and she drew all the countries in Africa and   it in. And I thought it was really beautiful.
