Subject: Applying for employment
Hello, I would like to apply for a position at the Johnson Steel Company. I have a question about the drug screening policy and the rules of the company.
I smoke occasionally, but if I get hired, I will not smoke in the workplace. But is it possible to smoke outside during lunch and breaks? It says you guys are vitally interested in maintaining safe, healthful, and efficient working conditions for your employees. Does that mean safe altogether, or just the environment of workers? I'm sure you guys have smokers that work for the company.
I agree to submit to drug screening and everything else you said, just wanted to know about the smoking policy. Thank you.
