Estimated Bills

As you know, our Licensing Agreement stipulates that we have the right to check the monthly volume production at your plant and then bill you for that production level. However, we are sometimes unable to check this volume under certain conditions. Inspectors may be unavailable to do their jobs if they are working at a different plant. Also, weather conditions may make inspector visits impossible. And production gauges do occasionally break down, thus bringing about an inaccurate reading.

In case your gauge is not actually checked, we will send you an estimated bill. The estimate is calculated on the basis of past production levels. When a gauge reading is not implemented, you will receive a bill, on which the word “estimated” is printed.

You can prevent an estimated bill if you turn in a reading that you have implemented yourself. Here are two methods to enable you to avoid estimates. First, contact us with your gauge reading at 1-800-467-7000. Second, send an e-mail to gauge@sarobotics.com to give in your gauge reading. Whichever way you prefer, two days prior to your planned gauge- reading day is the most appropriate time to notify us of your reading. You only have to select either of those two ways to supply your reading to us. In this case, the words “customer reading” will be printed on your bill.

Within the next 6 months, we plan to move our entire billing system online, which should eliminate the need for this process.
