Subject: ‘05 Staff Data
Renee,
I've reviewed the ‘05 data chart you forwarded to me and have a few questions about it. I'd like to know the average hours worked per month by each part-time employee. I'm considering a raise in die hourly pay for those positions. Also, there's no mention of whether the part-time clerk accepted your offer of full-time work, so update me on that before anything else. The full-time staff's sales commission rate will go up 0.5% this year, but there will be no increase of official illness or vacation leave. The managerial positions' commission rate will rise by one percentage point and one additional day of vacation leave will be added. Lastly, any staff whose sales in ‘06 exceed by 10% the figure during the same month in ‘05 can select an item of their choice from the store's regular stock, but not from among imported merchandise.
