To: Samantha Hare, Manager of Engineers on the Move
From: Holly Grove
Dear Mrs. Hare, this is Holly Grove, scheduled to guest speak on May 4th to the people of Engineers On The Move. I am very thankful and delighted that you have invited me to such a place. However, I am terribly sorry that I cannot make it. I'm afraid my mother from Ohio is visiting me on May 4 - 14th, and I even told the managers at my restaurant to watch over the place for me. I am very sorry for the inconvenience, and if you would like, I can re-schedule for anytime after the 14th.
Thank you.
