Questions below refer to the following article and memorandum.

Tasteful Vision

After several years of depressed sales of eyeglasses, the demand for such products has increased considerably in the past few months, according to Robert Forza. the chief executive officer of the Glassine Frame Works. Forza's comments were made during a televised interview in Italy while he was paying a visit to Glassine franchises in Milan. Glassine is a Sicilian company that specializes in production of specialty eyeglass frames. The rise in sales, and accompanying profits, is apparently related to consumers returning to eyeglasses as a form of fashion rather than practicality. Forza's good news may be a sign of things to come in the fashion industry during the coming months.

To: Robert Forza, CEO, Glassine Frame Works

From: Arturo Benigno, General Manager,

Glassine Frame Works Milan Store #002

I noticed an error in an article in the September edition of Financial Today. In an article entitled “Tasteful Vision", it was stated that you were visiting the company's franchises in Milan when you were interviewed. As you know. Glassine Frame Works owns all Glassine Frame Works stores in Milan. They are not franchised.

While I realize that Glassine Frame Works franchising is currently available solely in the United States, it may be confusing to our shareholders and potential investors if they were to mistakenly think we have franchises in Italy, or that such franchises are available.

If you like, I can send a letter to the publishers of Financial Today, requesting a retraction or correction. I think the sooner we do this the better, to help avoid some rather distressing phone calls and e-mails to our Milan offices and into the home offices in Sicily.

Sincerely,

Arturo Benigno
