Presley - the KING of Rock'n'Roll - may well be dead but he lives on here in
the Elvis Presley Memphis Museum.
This
Museum, the largest Elvis memorial in the world, houses all of Elvis's famous
stage costumes, rare photographs of the King on tour, letters written by and received
from the King, and video footage shot backstage at some of the biggest
concerts ever held in the United States. This is a must see for any true
music fan.
With
more than 34 rooms full of memorabilia, it is a feast of extra information
otherwise unattainable. Read about Elvis's extraordinary life, his
Rock'n'Roll lifestyle and the huge pressure he was under while exposed to
such media attention.
Headphones
and audiotapes are available for rent at the main door reception desk and
guests are taken on a guided tour of the building. This tour takes a little
over an hour to finish and includes all the necessary information and
explanations that will make this tour one to remember.
