Good evening to you all. Many thanks for attending our celebration for Martin Vermont, who leaves us this month after a brilliant 20 years to work in academia. All of us who have worked with Martin, and also many who haven′t, will be familiar with the excellent work he has done. Martin pioneered our move into new areas, developing the broad range of new financial products that we today provide to our customers.
Martin has also contributed to raising our company′s public profile, appearing regularly on current affairs shows as a commentator on economic and financial matters. We can have no doubt that the students at Southern University will benefit greatly from Martin′s knowledge and expertise. Let′s wish Martin all the best for the future.
