W: Eric, will you be taking your car to the company party this evening?
M: No. I′m getting a lift with Sean. I took my car into a garage to get it fixed last night and I had to take the bus to work this morning.
W: I see. Do you think I could go with you guys? I was supposed to go with Sally, but she has to leave early to see a client today.
M: Well, I′m sure that Sean wouldn′t mind. I′ll ask him over lunch today and let you know by one o′clock.
