WB: Are you sure? I′m pretty sure I mailed it to your office on Monday.
MA: Well, if you mailed it on Monday, which is the paycheck due day, it is already late, and as a late fee, we charge you $50 per day. We will give you another notice of how much in late fees you owe as soon as we receive your check.
WB: What? $50 a day? That is absurd! There′s no way I′m paying that. You did not even tell me the due day for the check!
