W: Excuse me, sir. My name is Melissa Starling from the Toronto Star newspaper. Did you see the car crash? Could you tell me about what you saw?
M: Do you see that red convertible that is smashed over there? He came speeding through a red light and hit that large van before spinning out of control.
W: What happened next? Do you know if the driver or the van passengers were hurt? Was the driver of the convertible drinking and driving?
M: I don′t know about that, but I did see that he was unconscious and bleeding when the ambulance came. The van passengers were lucky because they didn′t even get a scratch.
