Dear Mrs. Miles,
It is with great regret that I am writing this letter. As you know, your daughter Miranda has been having problems with some of the other girls. Unfortunately, on Monday there was an unforgivable incident (1)............... a math lesson. One girl needed to be hospitalized as a result. We cannot tolerate this kind of behavior. Miranda has not listened to any of our warnings and I need to talk to you (2)................ We are considering expelling Miranda, but (3)............... to talk to you first. On the other hand, her sister Melinda is a delight to teach. We hope that she will continue her studies at Huntley.
